TRADITIONAL Thai massage as most people understood is similar to yoga practice or I might say a self-stretching technique where one can practice by themselves whenever they need to, to flex their muscles.

TRADITIONAL
Thai massage provide benefits similar to yoga training which help increasing muscle elasticity which is good for maintaining wellness and posture. But surely stretching technique is not enough for those who have long years of chronic pain issues.

For people who are active than average, athletes and sport injury. We will need pressure point technique to eliminate lactic acid that accumulated along energy paths and scar tissues from surgery or any types of operations, from long years of training and services in your practices.

ONLY stretching technique or can not heal chronic pains and symptoms because most stretching technique only good for mobility of joints, tendons, and muscle in two dimensions, for general wellness to maintain good posture and minor soreness yes. But not for athletes and active sport man/women who need to get heal fast for their get going life styles.

That is why I do not use the word traditional Thai massage in my practices, because I knew many people use this term just for business purpose and I wish not to ruin Thai massage reputation for that.

There are so much more in Thai massage.
It's just not about stretching here and there to past the hour.
If the practitioner know how.

You don't need to spend an hour to treat the spot. Just 15-30 minutes is good enough for each spot, depend on the stiffness and each bodily system.

I personally don't like to use the term " traditional Thai massage " because I know my Thai massage knowledge is very little compare to the teacher, masters that I learned from them.

What I know about Thai massage is just an icing on top of the cake. I do not wish to use the term " Traditional Thai massage " because I know what I'm practicing is not considered " traditional " though I am Thai, who learned Thai massage technique from many people and have been actively practicing only Thai massage since I started a healer journey  in 2013.

How Thai Massage be medically beneficial?

Relieves Stress
Stress relief is key to achieving a healthier lifestyle. Even a single session
can significantly lower heart rate, cortisol and insulin levels all of
which help reduce stress.

Improves blood circulation
The pressure created by massage therapy moves blood through congested areas. This causes new blood to flow in, resulting improved body function.

Lower Blood Pressure
High blood pressure has more misconceptions than nearly any other medical condition. But one effective way to stave off high blood pressure naturally is massage therapy.

Improves Flexibility and Range of Motion
As we age, joints tend to tighten, making range of motion more restricted. This practice helps us keep joints more fluid, which making us more flexible and less prone to injury.

Promotes Deeper and Easier Breathing
One of the telltale signs of anxiety and stress is constricted breathing.
Massage can play an important role in reliving respiratory issues and training the body how to relax.

Relaxes Muscles
Got neck, back or muscle pain? Odds are, sitting all day at the office is the culprit. Massage gets to the root of persistent pain by relaxing tense muscles.

Improves Posture
Unlike other bad habits, poor posture can be relaxing to correct.
Massage helps reinforce healthy and natural movements, which can get your posture back on track.
